2. Description of Service

ytskim provides a suite of software tools designed for YouTube creators and viewers, including but not limited to AI video summarization, transcript generation, and channel name generation. We use third-party APIs (such as OpenAI and YouTube) to provide these services.

3. Payments & Credits

Our premium features require the purchase of "Credits". Credits are sold in non-recurring packs (one-time payments). One credit is typically consumed per video processed, unless stated otherwise. Credits are valid for one year from the date of purchase. All payments are securely processed through Stripe. Due to the computational costs of AI generation, purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been consumed.

4. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You must not use our tools to generate hate speech, illegal content, or process videos that you do not have the right to view or process. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of generated summaries and transcripts complies with YouTube's Terms of Service and applicable copyright laws.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate. In no event shall ytskim, nor its creators or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service or reliance on the generated content.
