Frequently Asked Questions
What grade formats are supported?
You can enter grades in three ways: Percentages (e.g. 92.5), Fractions/Ratios (e.g. 45/50 for a quiz score), or Letter Grades (e.g. A, B+, C-). The calculator automatically maps them using your grade scale settings.
How does the final exam target calculator work?
It calculates the completed weighted grades and evaluates what score is required on the remaining weight to reach your target: Needed Grade = [Target - Completed Weighted Grade] / Remaining Weight. It highlights if extra credit is required.
How is the Class Roster Mode structured?
In Roster Mode, teachers can customize the assignment columns and weights (e.g., Homework 20%, Exam 80%). The table updates dynamically, allowing names and grades to be entered, auto-calculating semester averages, and compiling class distribution graphs.
Is my student data private?
Absolutely. All student names, grades, and calculations are computed locally inside your web browser. No roster or student data is ever sent to or saved on our servers.
